The “I am Jesse Owens” mural is an 8′ x 8′ painting which was created with 40 students from Warren Lane Elementary School in Inglewood, California for a new film about Jesse Owens. Their teachers, other staff members and many family members helped with the mural. The project began during Black History Month and was unveiled on June 1, 2015 with P.S. ARTS, Turnaround Arts and the actress, Keke Palmer.
